A Seventeen year olds prayer

God,

You are at work in my life, in this time more than ever. I thank you so much for having such an interest in my life. I thank you for the destiny that you are unfolding before me. I praise you with my heart, becase my actions will never be enough to give you the glory you deserve for your work in me.

You are God and I am seventeen, and on the verge of becoming a man in the worlds eyes. I pray that I will always be a child in your eyes, and I Thank you for you never ending patience with me as I make the mistakes of a child. You are my Father, you have called me out to manhood, to adult hood, to maturity.

Give me the Heart of a child, that I may always follow in the footseps of my father. Like a Child, may I always look at you as my Hero and Savior, for you are wonderous. I thank you for your guiding hands showing me the way you know I should go. I Give you My Heart, becuase I have failed as steward of it. I Give you My Life, so you can build it the right way.

You place me on this earth in this time, and htis place for your reason. You gave me my family becuase you knew I needed them. Let me be a gift to them. I pray your blessing on my parents. Forgive them their faults, because no one is perfect. They are Your children too, and may I not hold their sins towards me against them, becasue they are your Guidance in my life. Give them Discernment and wisdom as they help me prepair to join the world, and in helping me choose a wife. Give them Peace and joy through me as I venture out, let me honor them in how i live. Give them comfort and love for each other, because even after I am long gone, I am still their youngest baby, and I will always love them as your gift to me.

I thank you for my Siblings, brother and sister, who watched me form birth and helped guide me to what I am now. Let me not hold our childhood arguments agaisnt them, but let us be your children as much as the children of our earthy parents. Keep your hand on them, whether or not they choose to follow that hand; because i love them, and I want your best for them. To them, i will always be their 'toad', and they will never stop being my family. Give us eyes to see one another as your children, and give is hearts to act as your children.\

Lord you have given me the chance at an education, one which not everyone on this earth has, for which I am most grateful. Grant me Understnading, so my finite mind can begin to see the wonders of your creation. May I use and apply what you teach me through my proffessors and classes to benefit your kingdom with wisdom. As ythis transition in learning is made, please give me your knwolege, so I can preform well. Let my college be about you, and not about grades and classes so I can be an edification to others.

O, God! Thank you for giving me a mind of work and drive. Thank you for providing me with work now, so I can prepait financially for the strugles that I may have in college and beyond. Thank you for putting me in workplaces and with employers that know you and seek to serve you. Continue in me the will and rive you have given me to see out the career you have chosen for me in the future. May I work hard for your glory, not my own or any others, both now and in my career.

I Pray your blessing on my wife, whether I know her now or not. Heep her heart sanctified; focused only on you untill our time. I pray her and your forgivness for not keeping myself with you, for givign my heart away before it was your time. Lord, In this age fo selfish marriges, prepair me, so that I may live to serve my wife, completely suspending myself so I can grow closer to you with her. Do not let me be an unsensitive father or husband. Impart to me your Wisdom as a father, so I may be a righeouss father to my own children. Before I even know the names of my ofspring, you have chosen them and what they will be. Let me be a picture of you, then and now.

You have places around me peopel who support me, thought they are not my family. For these freinds I worship you. May your Grace flow to them as it has to me. Open their eye's an hearts to you even more so they can receive it. They have been the freinds that stick closer than brothers to me. I pray that I can be as edifying to them

Upon my Mind and Heart, God, you have placed a burden for This Country. It was made to serve you, but it has fallen away from your law and your law of nations. If it be your will, allow me to be a part of the solution to saving this country for which I can never thank you enough. The freedoms you have given me by placing me in this place are nothing to be taken for granted, yet nothing to give up.

I begin and end this Prayer with Thanksgiving. May I do so in all things. Your will be done in me, because I am your's as is everything on earth and in heaven and below.

Thank You, God.

In the name of Jesus Christ,

Thank you...
